Although one learns through conditioning and practice, life has been tough challenge. It would have been weary and hopeless if I had not received the cementing support from my family, friends and NGOs like NAB who have eradicated the presentiment that comes from blindness.

Instead they gave me strength and opportunities to make my life a productive one. Today as I sit in my
chair and perform daily tasks and jobs as second nature
I am thankful to technology and to the people who have
made it possible for me to use it. A feeling like this one
unfortunately is not unanimous among all of us.

For a blind human, disregard and segregation can only
crumble the strength further. While NGOs like NAB are
penetrating deep and wide to affect every blind individual,
I appeal to society at large.

TO YOU, PERPETRATORS OF A PROGRSSIVE SOCIETY, I appeal
to you all to come forward in more numbers and help US give,
help and push forward the vision at NAB to include every blind
individual into society to possess equal opportunities and status
so that being blind is only a physical handicap.
