Girls in 435 villages/towns, for 35 lakhs with the help of 70
special teachers

impaired, 395 boys and 371 girls from 9 states were given scholarships
worth Rs. 3,57,500

assistance worth Rs. 17,000/-

1,22,200/- in which 74 blind and 62 sighted students participated

Voluntary Braille Transcription Service 34 Braille Volumes comprising
12 Text Books and 4 Story Books were transcribed in Braille

students of which 26 boys and 9 girls suffering from blindness
plus additional disabilities were provided special services to
a Home-based Programme in and around Mumbai at the cost of 4 lakh
- Under
National Project of Services of Deaf Blind Children sponsored
by Sense Internation (I) 35 Deaf-blind children from 9 states
were provided services
- In
the CBM Finance Training Centre for the Teachers (Primary Level)
of the Visually Impaired 13 Students were imparted training

Students were given awards for their meritorious performance in
S.S.C. & H.S.C. Examination in the Mumbai Division Board

- Spectacles
were provided to 2524 School Children and 483 in Eye Camps

inception 6 years back, we have screened 145262 and provided spectacles
in 11681 and medicines/ ointments to 1002
