LBMRC
Library

Started
in 1979, the LMBRC library is a rich warehouse of information on
blind welfare and on varying subjects relating to blindness. Begun
with a few books as gifts and donations, today the library hosts
a fine collection of over five thousand titles, which encompass
books, periodicals, seminar reports and research articles. As a
result it has served as a continuing the library offers enriching
reference material for professional and research scholars.
It
regularly receives several professional journals and magazines from
within India and abroad, including:
Journal of Visual Impairment & Blindness
The British Journal of Visual Impairment
The World Blind among others, thus allowing access to updated news,
views, trends and government policies.
Membership
The library offers life and ordinary memberships to:
- Individuals and institutions in Mumbai
- Individuals and institutions from around the country
The LMBRC offers lending and reference services
to all its members.
