Equipped with the latest software and reliable technology from Microsoft, this Cyber Cafe comprises of 5 computers with the pathbreaking Screen Reading Software - JAWS FOR WINDOWS.

Its installation in the computer allows for all text on screen to be converted to speech, thus enabling a blind individual to 'hear' any kind of information from any website.

Attached to the computers is also a scanner with the specialised software known as Kurzweil 1000 that converts print into speech.

This Project has enabled the blind to browse the Internet and carryout word processing functions in addition to reading printed material. There is also a facility for Braille Transcription of any matter if required.
